When we started looking to move from a "small pets only" apartment to one where we could have dogs, I was obsessed with Greyhound adoption sites. Even though our lease wasn't up for several months and we weren't seeing much hope in finding a place anytime soon. I found Irony on such a site a good 6 months before we were going to be able to move and I KNEW she was the one. I was sick with worry that we'd not be able to ever get her and it probably really was a miracle that she was back at the kennel when we were able to. We had even moved to a real shit hole town rather than the one we were in just to speed up the finding of a dog-friendly place.

But we're talking years not months before I can take on a project horse. Years, I gotta remember we're talking years. I do not want this little blue guy to be hanging out at the rescue farm for that long, really, I don't....I want him to find a really wonderful home. But I'd like one just like him to show up when the time comes.
