Another computer update

Seems to be that my beastie is booting fine, but she just can't decide which graphics card to rely on.

The onboard graphics are messing up my NVIDIA so that 9/10 times the computer boots sending video to the wrong port. Updating drivers seems to have made the problem more of a pain. How do I disable my onboard graphics?

1) acquire screwdriver and/or hammer.
2) apply liberally.
3) boot into the BIOS (I press [ESC] + [F2] + [F10] + [F12] + [Delete] all at once--one of those will get you into the BIOS, surely)
4) there is usually someplace in the BIOS that will allow you to disable the onboard video adapter.

However, this might be symptomatic of a bigger problem... I've had lots of motherboards with video that did the right thing when I plugged a normal video card into it. I'd see if you can scrounge another video card to test with your computer to make sure that's not the real problem.
