I saw a hummingbird for the first time this year. I heard that distinctive short chirp, and looked up to see a blur of wings in the willow tree. Spring is here! Time to start my tomato seeds. :)

Yay hummingbirds! I doubt they have shown up in Colton yet, at 1000' in the woods, takes a little longer for them to find food sources.

Some of the little fellows overwinter, we had Anna's Hummingbirds living in our Beaverton rental backyard every Winter, but nothing out in Colton.

Missing Colton, I guess. :-(
