Well, I was planning on calling in tonight anyways, but I didn't have to seeing as how my manager didn't feel like opening the store in the snow. Is uppose if it stops later I'll go in and open...but I highly doubt it. I'm just going to keep reminding myself that in a couple weeks when my check is short $33, it was worth having the day off

Don't worry too much about the mall. Most people aren't stupid enough to go shopping during a snow storm... and the ones who are stupid enough to do it, are exactly the people you'd have to deal with if you went in. :)

you can't put a dollar amount on a day off from work. Priceless :)

This is very true. I had a great day off. I spent it sleeping, online, watching TV, and then went out drinking at the bar across the street. Got mildly drunk, came home, had another and then sang Kareoke to my roommate. Fun was had by all. ;)
