I had priests bless my weapons. Silver can have an adverse effect on some ghosts.

As for your friend, take her some place where she can get away from her responsibilites for a bit. A place that she has fun going to.

...I understand that you were, at least, trapped in an apartment. Are you still, or are you possessed of the ability to go out onto the streets?
If so, I'd advise picking up a small bottle of something- say a Coca-Cola- and after emptying it, taking it to a church.
Pick up a Bible; also, find yourself a bell, a candle, and a book of Catholic prayer and ritual. All of these things should be readily available in that church.
Included in the book of prayer should be a ritual for the banishment and/or exorcism of malevolent spirits.

Thank you very much, Doctor! I'm actually out of the universe entirely now, but I'm planning on going back. Unfortunately, the ghost in question is a little more powerful...well, let's just say that he has full control of that area of the universe. The power comes directly from an evil God.

We're looking into what you suggested already, and it should help with the other ones, but I already know it won't help against him. There's no way to banish his spirit from the area- he's too intertwined with it. So I'm hoping that he'd be easier to destroy if we forced him to become corporeal...

I being somewhat of a specter myself, can offer little advice.

My weapon against the denizens of the spectral realm is the Reaver. Allows hand to glow slightly.

The only way to kill such a phantasmal being seems to be rather gruesome. I possess the ability to devour soul's. It's effective but I wouldn't recommend it.

I am looking for a way to destroy his soul. I think its the only way to get rid of him. But as much as I want to ask for your help, I don't think its a good idea. The place we're going would...uh, use you...

In your case, I'd say it's not a danger- it's a certainty. That's just the way the place is...
