He is perfection, yet he lacks so much...

Itsuki walked into the Nexus via a portal opening from his own personal inter-dimension: his pet, Yurayotoko the floor demon lingered behind him as a shadow.

“How curious…” he murmured to himself, his eyes scanning the area for anyone familiar. There was no trace of Shinobu or his recruited minions which led him to believe that he had successfully arrived in the dimension that had caught his interest. Said dimension was fabled to answer any question.

“Stay here…” he said, glancing back at the large shadow behind him. “I won’t be too long.” The floor demon released a acquiescent growl before dismissing itself off to the side to allow it’s master to wander.

Itsuki’s question was going to be a difficult one to ask and while he was inwardly hesitant, a part of him was insistent on getting some answer. There was no immediate danger, but he couldn’t deny that Shinobu’s time was dwindling and while he never interfered with his companion’s actions, he at least wanted to get one point across before the inevitable end. Any answer would suffice; getting through to the actual Shinobu--let alone talking to him was becoming a task in itself. He only hoped that any unwanted listening ears would not happen by-though it didn’t seem likely considering where he was.

“My companion suffers a guilty conscience and has dealt with it in a manner that has caused him pain. He has resorted to distorting his own reality by hiding behind different facades in order to keep what little sanity he has intact. Is it possible to open his eyes and show him that the answer to his suffering is simple and has always been right by his side?”
