Lien is annoyed today, laying stretched out along a couch with her hands resting on her lightly rounded stomach, her hair pulled into one slightly messy braid rather than the usual twin ponytails and draped over her shoulder so she can fiddle with the end of it when she gets restless. Which, if anyone's been observing her for a while, she is very restless, reaching up to pluck at the braid quite often.
"What are some ways to prevent yourself from feeling useless when you're being forbidden to go out and do the fieldwork that keeps you from feeling useless?" she sighs, closing her eyes. "I hate just laying around, and I'm horribly bored on top of that. I'm only three months along, I can at least gather data, that'd keep me active and I wouldn't have to fight..."
She's clearly been arguing this point with her superiors and not winning, from her tone.
