And this would be Kadaj very rapidly backing away from the gigantic snake, looking utterly terrified and saying nothing.

The only answer Kaa will get is Kadaj bursting into tears, covering his face quickly as if afraid to show he's crying.

"They all look like you? Can you name them, little guy?" Rowen takes a knee in front of the kid, trying his best to smile reassuringly.

Kadaj takes a couple small steps back, eyeing Rowen warily with a fear much too deep to be just from general distrust of the Nexus and its inhabitants, giving a little shake of his head and keeping his mouth firmly shut. He still can't shake the thought that he'll get in trouble if he talks too much.

"Hey, don't fuss like that. You want to find your brothers, don't you?" Rowen keeps smiling, and talks in a soothing tone of voice. He doesn't move closer to the child, thinking progressing towards Kadaj would scare him more. "Can you tell me your name? I'm Rowen."

A firmer headshake, Kadaj's shoulders hunching up and his eyes turning to the floor; he speaks before he can think about it, voice scared and bitter.

"I - I'm not supposed to have a name. None of us are. They said so."
