Somewhere in the Nexus there is a switch.
There's nothing extraordinary about this switch. It looks like your common, household light switch. It's off-white in color, something that's probably called 'eggshell' in the language of interior decorating. This is the kind of switch you flip when you walk into a room without even thinking about it.
Of course this is the Nexus, so any switch, even one that is not brightly colored and labeled 'Do Not Touch Under Any Circumstances' is extremely suspicious to those with even a little sense. But you know that someone, somewhere, will flip it just to see what it does. Or maybe they're just trying to turn on a light.
In any event, the switch is flipped.
Been avoiding the food, any weird vapors, and strangers offering candy? Good luck dodging this one. Anyone who happens to be passing through just now is going to find themselves inexplicably gender-switched.
Isn't the Nexus great! :D
