Cut's muttering to himself irritably as he approaches the sign. "Oh yeah, let's put a frigging huge space colony in orbit right where Final Weapon used to be. Cause learning from history is for nerds... I knew something was gonna go wrong with the whole thing."
He looks around and speaks up. "Ok, the government did something stupid again. No surprise. The bad part is, their mistake is going to crash and burn in about fifteen hours and take a chunk out of our home planet with it. So... anybody know of a good way to vaporize a space colony?"
"And anyone got suggestions on how to keep the government from blowing it out of space until we evacuate the poor saps they had up there working on the thing?"
Given the time limit, he doesn't have long to stick around here. But he figures a few minutes getting suggestions will help more than hurt.
