The SEED is expanding its influence. Moatoob and Neudaiz have completely succumbed, Parum is nearly taken over, and the colony can just barely fight it off but their defenses are failing as I write this message.

...Somehow, I'm not afraid. I've seen too many of my friends die - had to kill too many of them myself - in the past day and a half. I saw Saku mutate right before my eyes, forced to purify her alone. I watched Zefie, driven insane by the corruption, run herself through on my own saber in her last moment of clarity. I saw Hyuga fall defending the Divine Maiden. I saw Ethan die in my arms, even as he tried to protect me with his own body.
I've seen too much. I'm not afraid any more.
