Time has no meaning, yay!
Oh look, there's Lily's portal into the Nexus.
What most people might not expect to see come out of it, however, is this hideous...thing. It looks like a grotesque parody of a horse and rider, monstrous head and torso set above monstrous body, with arms that end in very sharp-looking blades and hints of flame crackling about its feet, and it gallops into the Nexus with a bellowing roar that shakes the area. (Less courageous Nexusites may wet themselves in fear.)
Quickly following it with what appears to be some sort of curved long scythe in her hands is Lily, however, wearing what appears to be some sort of parody-styled cowgirl outfit, a highly skimpy tube top and shorts with a jacket, chaps and boots that really reveals a lot more than it covers; behind her is a young man perhaps half a foot taller than her, wavy silver hair falling into his face, a dark purple top with stripes of a lighter purple down the front, light grey pants and red and white shoes making up his outfit. He's clutching a pair of glowing blue sabers tightly, and is focused just as heavily on the creature as Lily is.
But even through that focus-- "--oh shit," that would be Lily noticing where they just ended up, and she screams to her companion, "Hyuga, don't let it touch even a single person! We have to eliminate it now!!"
Quickly, she raises her weapon, swings it sharply down; a ball of glowing rock and lava soars right into the creature's head, sending it reeling and stunning it, and a series of quick slashes from Hyuga's sabers earn a pained, deafening roar and the creature finally just slumping, disappearing in a cloud of dark, noxious gas.
Lily coughs, waves the gas away from her face as she lets the weapon fade from her hands, and looks up at Hyuga as he comes uncertainly to a stop by her side, his own weapons now gone from sight. "...You remember that Nexus place I was telling you about?"
"This is it?" His voice is light, cultured, holding a hint of a British accent.
"Got it in one." She blows out a long breath, then shakes her head and apologizes to those nearby. "Sorry about that. I wasn't expecting a portal to pop up in the middle of the damn Illuminus lab."
Hyuga, meanwhile, is looking about with interest now, one hand on his hip and his posture remarkably relaxed. "What an incredible place."
"You would think so. Anyway, question - is it just me, or do Nexus physics have the worst sense of humor in the world?" Lily asks dryly.
((OOC note: Lily is still involved in some previous threads; this is set after those previous threads. I fully intend to finish them up though, don't worry. Just call this a little timeskip.
