Something large and metallic hits the floor and skids, coming to rest against a wall, where it proceeds to leak various fluids in a large puddle. It's a robot... or half a robot ( Read more... )

"Hey man," Here is another Jazz kneeling next to his counterpart. "Megatron did a number on ya. Hang in there till Ratchet can get here."

As he says this he's already calling his Ratchet over his com link. HOpefully he's not off screwing around with Dev.

Jazz manages to nod, the shaking subsiding as the life support takes over. His own Ratchet would hurt him for it, but he can't resist reaching a hand toward the pretty red femme.

The other Jazz chuckles and goes back to checking the diagnostics while Ratchet works.

The yellow mech quickly seals off the leaking tubing, then hooks up what would amount to IVs in organic creatures before starting to take things out of his pack.

Then he pauses and looks at 'his' Jazz as his hand touches the parts he's taken from the reality's original Jazz's shell. He's not sure how his friend will take this recycling of his 'brother's' body, but they're the injured Jazz's best hope.

She sees Jazz's hand reach towards her, and says something to the effect of "Heal first, flirt later."

He doesn't hear her because sedation or not his body is going offline. There's a soft sigh as he stops moving. The readouts still read steady, though. He's just 'sleeping'.

Jazz only stiffens for a minute before going back to his readings. //I trust you Ratch.//

//This will save time,// says the yellow medic gruffly as he lays out the parts and wipes absently at a blackened spot on one leg. //And... I think Jazz would approve.//

Then he takes the painkiller override and applies the sedation, nodding as the sounds from the monitors remains steady.

That done, he sets to work, his hands sure and quick.

No matter what universe they might come from, Ratchets have a knack of telling just what an injured 'bot needs.

If Jazz were aware, he'd be happy that the pain had stopped. Since he's not, he just lays there in the puddle and probably puts a few Nexus goers off their meals.

((feel free to skip me till he's ready to come back online. There won't be any emergencies.))

The other Jazz nods to Ratchet and continues to worry over his counterpart. "He likes ya already Ata."

Jagged edges are trimmed, piping and neural wiring is reconnected, joins are carefully wielded with Ratchet's laser. It's been awhile since he's been called on to do work like this, but his circuits and his hands haven't forgotten their job.

"Eheh," she says to Jazz as he speaks up. She'd be blushing if she could. "I noticed."

And Jazz just keeps on grinning, occasionally looking up at her and Ratch from the diagnostics.

Finally, Ratchet's hands still, and he watches for a moment before carefully unhooking the life support and monitors for a moment. "We've got to get those fluids rinsed off or the combination will corrode his shell. Ata, do you know where a garden hose or something of the sort could be found?"

He stands and gently lifts the unconscious Jazz out of the puddle.

"Hmm. I'll check." She looks around, and soon she she finds one. "I've found one over here."

((Uh, how're we gonna do this?))
