"I have a handful of people who'd agree I am in dire need of some common sense," Deina says thoughtfully, "But three dollars? That sounds suspicious. I bet the side effects are killer." Her tone makes it apparent how untrusting she is in the cheap product, but leaves an open mind to be convinced anyway.
Kia raised her hand. "I'd be one of those people." Despite the cheap price tag and possible nexus lol involved, she started to dig into her pocket. "I'll even pay for it."
"I'll have you know, I have plenty of-" She paused. Damn it. Kia had little common sense in the grand scheme of things. Blast it. Kia scowled. "Oh.. you.. hush!"
With the same smirk she had when she commented on the bottle, she held it toward Kia. "Here, don't say I never gave you anything." The proof of their lack of logic was shining through as they were about to trade the same object as if it was a gift.
Kia must have been off her rocker today, because she handed De her newly purchased bottle.. and took the one Deina offered. Oh where was someone sane to stop her? She knew better, she did. "If this really does turn me into something or kill me, I will come back and avenge myself."
She opened the bottle.. and then downed it all. Why the hell not? She'd regret it later, as she always did.. but eh. Thems the breaks.
After the bottle exchange she drinks the product. After finishing it she waits as if to logically check for affects where as the normal De would probably comment there was no change at all. Tilting a head to Kia, she also looked for her effects, "It would of been logical to ask the amount of time before it changes us before looking for symptoms I guess."
The drink actually tasted pretty good. In fact, it tasted a lot like Kia's favorite drink, the Chaotic Bleu. "Hey! Can I get another one over here? They taste great!!"
She glanced at De and poked her on the shoulder. "You don't look any different, but that doesn't mean anything. After all, you could be having your insides eaten out by the stuff." And despite this, Kia is waving down for another bottle. "Hey! I placed an order over here!"
She had a strong desire to go kill a karaoke machine. It had been too long, hadn't it? As soon as she got more to drink, she'd go take care of that urge.
Looking warily to Kia's request she asks, "Wouldn't it just be more logical to go to the Cafe and order something that tastes similar without the possibility of this giving some sort of odd side effect?"
Kia gave her an 'are you kidding me' look. "Hello? Why settle for that when I can get both? Duh. Now I'm taking my drinks and going to the cafe. You coming with?"
"Only in the hopes that I can keep you out of trouble," she comments as she sees the guy giving her a second bottle. "Something tells me you shouldn't drink that strange product, Kia. Let's just get you the drink at the Cafe...." She tried to reason with her, honestly.
Kia growled at her. Why was she being such a stick in the mud? "Hey, you drank it and it didn't do anything to you. See? It's all good. I'm good. I'm happy. So come on loosen up!"
