(no subject)
With a bamf and a puff of smoke, the blue fuzzy elf returns to the Nexus, carrying a few bags of goodies and holding a cold drink.
"I finally managed to get back! Patchy, if you're nearby, I've got the treats you asked for! And I brought some for other people too, if they want them. There's all kinds of different things here. I went to a big grocery store and picked up things that looked interesting. I've tried most of this stuff too, it was all really good!
"I took the advice I got to just be honest when explaining to everyone what happened to me, but I don't think they believed me. I even offered to let the Professor or Jean read my mind to see that I was telling the truth, but they didn't. Just kind of acted like they were playing along with my story and waiting for me to tell the truth when I'm ready. I guess they'll have to believe me eventually. I was gone for a really long time too, time must pass a little differently there than it does here. It took a while to convince them to let me come back here again.
"It's been really hot back home... I guess it's been that way for a while, so I was lucky and missed most of it. Hot weather and fur just don't mix well. I found a coffee shop near the Institute with good air conditioning and cold drinks, though, and got addicted to this bubble tea stuff they sell! It's great! What's your favorite hot-weather drink? And do you want to try some of this? I have some mix here somewhere."
