"Brothers are good. I haven't lost mine yet..." She tilts her head a bit, a smile spreading as she brushes some hair out of her eyes. "So this is where you've been hiding!"

"They hurt you, and it was wrong, but that doesn't excuse you either." She reaches up, resting a hand on his cheek. "He didn't deserve it. And neither did you."

He doesn't move away from her touch, but neither does he seem to welcome it. "He didn't deserve it, he chose it. I don't know why... I'd almost kill to know why, but that was his choice.

He has more honor and more courage than the rest of them put together."

With a soft sigh, she wraps her arms around him, careful not to crush Iva in the hug. "Yes, he does. I've missed you, you know."

Well that was a surprise. "Have you Lady? I didn't think I'd made that big of an impression in my youth."

[fairgirlfriday]

"I have. It gets lonely there."

"Living in the country of your enemies... Though you surely could have any company you desired."

[fairgirlfriday]

"There needs to be more to a relationship than a person finding me attractive. There are few who understand the position I am in there."

"Of course they don't. They're in the homes they grew up in, surrounded by people they've known all their lives."

[fairgirlfriday]

"And they do not interest me." She shrugs a bit. "I've been spending most of my time in Midgard, lately. At least they're different..."

"Really? I'd thought everyone had a hard time getting there lately. Or is that just the Aesir?

What's it like these days? I've heard a lot about the other Midgards you can reach from here, but not the one I grew up hearing about."

"I'm not quite as forgotten as the rest. They've named a day for me, after all, and frau is still a term of respect. And once I get there I tend to stay a while.

"It is...very different. I do not believe I could do it justice with my words."

"You and Thor, I think, are the best remembered. He has his day as well. And that damned hammer.

I've met three different alternates of him here. Either none of them have recognized me as a Jotun, or they don't share the hatred towards my kind that the Thor we know has.

Would it be possible for you to show me how to get to 'our' Midgard?"

"Yes, I can show you how to get there. I'll need to rest first. It was a long trip."

"I'm in no hurry."
