Many years ago in Los Angeles, CA, the Druk Sakyong, was presenting teachings on Heaven Earth and Man, principles. I asked him how to use these principles in furnishing ones home and environment. He said that I should look to the way the Japanese furnished their homes and environment which I understood to be with simplicity, elegance and functionality. I found this teaching to be quite meaningful and useful over the years.
