This story started to grow as an idea from have read the fan fiction story Arabian Nights written by Mel, Emspike, Beryll and Liz. It come me to think about the well known Arabian Nights, where one of the stories does go out on how one of the Kings wife tells a story every night, stopping before the finish is told, all to not be killed by the King. This repeats for one thousand and one night.
Arabian nights is translated to just Thousand and One Night in Swedish, and I really like that and didn't want to call my story as mention authors have done, when we wont have the same plot or then might be mixed up.
I've decided to write this to work for my friends that either like het or slash. You will also see that different chapters will be dedicated to friends, either for a thank, birthday wish or just that they are a friend of me and has come with suggestion of who they want to see in the story (or another that I took liberty to transfer here). In the future there might be one or another guest author as well.
The story will be set in an Alternative Universe, when I decided to use real people name from actor, actress and singers. Mostly the looks will be as we know them to be, but the background will be changed and they probably not have the profession we know about them. I've also taken liberty to change ages and I use some that is dead, though that is the fine with AU and fiction, you can take liberties.

Author's note: Main is that the story will be switched between the life in the Palace and the secret life of the Prince. For more see each chapter.
If I mention any temperature it will be in Celsius, length/height in meter and weight in kilos because that is what I'm used to.
Summary: Somewhere in the East lives a Marjahdan with his family. It is time for his son to get married and the Marjahdan has announce that the person who can show the best entertaining and win the heart of the Prince would be the one that is allowed to marry him. What the Marjahdan don't know is that his son lives a double life, one that his father would be terrified of if he had known about.
