I think you are being silly about the age difference thing. Chronological age means only what it means, nothing more. I don't think you are an immature person by any means, but I think... "young at heart" is a stupid expression... I think you see the world through eyes that, though not inexperienced, are also not clouded by the disillusionment of middle age. (I am sure this means something). likewise, I'm sure her twenty years have taught her enough about the world to know that really decent males are no dime-a-dozen commodity. I think you(singular) should work out what is so wrong with the idea, then with a little luck you (plural) can talk about how valid or not you had been to rule it out.

Yeah I know Im being silly. I think it's that I'm like "holy shit...I'm 36!!!", which is a reaction I never had to 35 or 34 or 30 or 25 or any other age I've been thus far, which is why this really has nothing to do with her but with me, after all I dated a 19 year old a couple of summers ago for a time, and have been with people almost as young a number of times. I guess I'm sort of starting to feel old a little bit, and I wonder what someone like me would have to offer someone that young, with so much in front of them. I think that's what it's about, to be honest.

Which is, of course, really stupid. Ok. Yeah. It's fucking moronic, isnt it.
