Yes. I'll start pushing for that during my follow up appointment in September...

I've read a number of refereed journal articles on the subject. Apparently, it is extremely difficult to identify the cause. My hearing returns or it doesn't; rest assured that I'm enjoying what I have...

Crumbs! I had been hoping for a better outcome than this. However, that you have good hearing with bone induction is at least a little hopeful, I think. Hopefully the next surgery will provide some improvement. In the meantime, be careful on the streets; you can't count on drivers to be paying attention these days.
