Honestly, he's a terror. I still have a bevy of stray tinsel that seems to have attached itself to my hair. It's not even uniform. It's multi-coloured. People have actually commended me for getting into the 'spirit of the season'.

Perhaps we can find you a counter-spell in the library later on.

No, we wouldn't. Especially as if we can't find a counter-spell, I might simply have to think of some way to get you into the spirit of things with me. All in the name of the season, of course.

Sorry. I would be one of the people who thought you were getting into the Christmas spirit. The tinsel doesn't look ridiculous at all.

Why can't we have mistletoe that doesn't screech at you as you innocently walk to class and demand that you snog some random person who happens to walk past you at the same moment.

If I was ever going to get into the 'Christmas spirit' by decorating myself somehow, it would be with a holly pin attached to the strap of my bag, not by putting on some sort of shiny, multi-coloured wig. Because the former looks ridiculous.

Most likely because our Headmaster thinks we all have the sense of humour of a 5-year-old. Honestly, I was discussing the latest assignment Professor Snape gave us, and we had the misfortune of walking under one of the charmed mistletoe. I'm quite sure that I've never been more mortified in my life.
