A conundrum...

My mother called me today before I got on the train to come home from Baruch. She asked me to pick up a lotto ticket for her. It's apparently going for $200 million or some outlandish figure. I told her that I don't gamble, I don't agree with her throwing her money away, and if she wanted a lotto ticket she would have to pick it up herself. I also ( Read more... )

In all honesty I would have gotten the tickets for your family because its not your money its you doing them a favor.
the PETA thing I wouldn't do cause what is the difference as to leave Born Again Christian pamplets at those places?
I believe you have the right to believe anything you want but not the right to bring upon other people. There are ways that people can talk about these topics though.
example being if I went out to eat with you and you ate some obvious vegetarian thing alot of people would be like "Oh your a vegetarian? Why? What?" etc.
Someone like me wouldn't ask those questions and would just say "Oh thats cool" and eat my meat for two.

i think you have consider every situation
vegetarianism, i think they would have to realize for themselves

when i was in the hospital, (he told me afterwards) he would play "my numbers" constantly. maybe its gambling and bad habits etc, but it could be something else. she could be doing it for crazy reasons like my dad

I believe that you should gamble only if you believe you have a psychic connection with angels and/or aliens. Also shoving things down people's throats, however morally just the cause, never works.
