I had a good weekend, perhaps a better weekend than I deserved, with the spectre of unmarked essays looming, and the little voice in my head whispering, "You should be resting." I did rest. A bit. I agree with you. Finding a balance between Alone Time and all the other times causes it's own stress. If you ever want to bitch, find me on gchat. I think I owe you a hundred hours of bitch time. :D

I know! They were low-key parties, but I made a huge effort to talk to strangers and circulate and all that. And a couple of people were like, "Wow, you must be all better, you're so cheerful!" and I was like, dudes, it's for show.

I only found out a couple of years ago, haha. I think All Saints' is but All Souls' isn't, according to Wikipedia, where I get all my information about my own religion. ;) And also according to Wikipedia, the Holy Days of Obligation vary from country to country.

Yeah, people can see socializing as a pure good in itself, but it still has to be factored into the whole Coping With Life ecosystem... which takes spoons. I do relate to this whole balancing thing... <3
