Finished a few of these, so I figured I'd post them~
If you like the idea, you should help out by posting some prompt ideas for leftover letters over
here at my table, please!
Title: Material Importance
Author:
fire_senshi Prompt: B is for Bookshop, from
oneplusme.
Fandom: Noir.
Pairing: Mireille Bouquet/Yuumura Kirika. (Sort of. If you're reading carefully.)
Rating: PG-13.
Word Count: 100. [per OpenOffice]
Notes:
oneplusme said the prompt was left field, and I agree, but I wrote it up anyway and I kinda like how it turned out. :)
Where Kirika enjoyed art, Mireille (in secret) enjoyed books.
The old man who sat behind the counter at the bookshop never looked up when he accepted her money, even if Mireille paid well more than for what she chose. It was quaint; Mireille preferred it that way.
One day, she found the store a tattered shell, a victim of protection extortion. The gentleman who ran it had apparently been in the blast.
The day after, Mireille took those books she'd stowed away to a donation box for the library the next town over.
She took to watching Kirika paint, instead.
Title: Idyllic
Author:
fire_senshi Prompt: C is for Color (of the Sky), from
piraskel.
Fandom: Canaan.
Pairing: Canaan/Oosawa Maria. (Also sort of.)
Rating: PG.
Word Count: 100. [per OpenOffice]
Notes: How I want this fandom to exist more... D:
Canaan regularly struggled when describing things to people; one sunny afternoon alone with Maria wouldn't change that.
"It's soft," Canaan muttered to her companion. "Usually."
Maria's eyes were shining, and it took Canaan a moment to realize she didn't need to use her synesthesia to hear the laughter nestled in them. "'Soft'? 'Usually'?"
The breeze picked up, rippling the stream nearby. "Until it rains." Canaan turned her attention back to the red string. "Then it feels like a thousand knives."
Maria became quiet, and Canaan was thankful; there had already been enough metaphors traded on such a nice, cloudless day.
Title: It's Too Early for This
Author:
fire_senshi Prompt: D is for Dawn, from
piraskel.
Fandom: So.Ra.No.Wo.To.
Pairing: Filicia Heideman/Kazumiya Rio. (Solidly, yay. XD)
Rating: PG-13.
Word Count: 100. [per OpenOffice]
Notes: I... don't think I'll ever get enough fluff for these two... 8D
Filicia stood a mere step away as the final notes stretched into the morning sky. She rubbed at the corner of her eye around her glasses.
"Still not a morning person, are you?" came Rio's rumbling voice with a tinge of amusement.
"I like to get up to hear it firsthand sometimes," Filicia avoided the question; then, she decided to answer, after all. "Besides, who wants to get out of a warm, soft bed that smells of a certain some-"
"L-Let's go get some coffee," Rio deftly moved away from both Filicia's reaching hands and indecent conversation all at once.
