Definitely a touch odd. But interesting all the same. It's something I could read and re-read over, trying to get all the nuances of your Bates. He's a pretty complex guy.

And I think I have a sekrit soft spot for Teyla/Bates. Not necessarily sex, even just full of issues in interaction.
