Things I’ve Learned in Storytelling

One thing I tend to avoid on this blog (besides actually posting regularly…) is critical reviews of books or TV shows/movies. I tend to avoid rocking the boat that I hope to someday ride. I’d hate to give an author a pass based on a story that I feel failed in some way only to have that author be given my theoretical book in the future to review.

I don't know if this helps, but whenever I think about starting a new series of themed blog posts, I ask myself 'Would I be interested in this (or think it was fun) if someone else did it?' If the answers 'yes' I take the plunge.

That's my long-winded way of saying 'Don't worry what we think, go with your gut.' :)

I can write stuff that interests me all day. :) But if it doesn't interest anyone else, there's no reason to spend time posting my ramblings publically.
