Happiness is: an update from you! This is marvelous. Danced equations and little bots climbing and dancing on big ones and Perceptor all tiny and brilliant and taking charge!!!!
I love the way you imagine this world and these mechs :)
Size differences: I loves them. Also size expectations. The idea of an important mech being itty-bitty is awesome. In my mind, Perceptor's about the size of a rather large dog, probably big enough for a kid to ride. Light cannon included, of course.
I always thought math and its cousins got a bad rap. It can be downright beautiful, and no one ever notices.
Riiight after I got back, I threw up a short series on Jetfire and/or the Prime Dynasty and/or the Fallen hitting on Megs. It's tagged by series: primary analysis
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! MATHDANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3333333333333333333333333333333333333 Also so much love for wee Perceptor and for sneaky Jazz is sneaky!
Would I be interested in a "sort of a 'Idiots Guide to a world Sae spent way too much time thinking about'?"????? a;sldfkbhalk;dfghal;gkasdgkla THAT WOULD BE YES, BOB! 8DDDD
And that makes it official. I'm about to spend some more time out and about (no where's near as long as last time, mind) and I should be able to get most of this mess at least scribbled out and sorted, if not typed out, while I'm gone. I've already got some notes on geography done, and I think I have a list of the various socio-political titles stashed somewhere... *wanders off muttering*
Love this so much! And The mech was dancing a very specific set of moves, and Wheeljack knew that if a tracer was placed on his left pede just so, the movements would write out the glyphs of Ferroline's equations of the gravitational pull between four moons around one planet, one of the oldest and longest surviving equation sets known to Cybertron. is my favorite part!
I'm utterly in love with the idea of a mathematics-based dance choreographed for a wheeled performer -- that's brilliant, and your description of them dancing was gorgeous.
And the sheer range of sizes... teeny and take-charge Perceptor with his elliptical locutions to really huge Blaster -- neat!

And they way they see everything with mathematical beauty, Fibonacci ain't got nothing on Cybertronians. *glee*
Welcome back? Is this the fist you've done since getting landbound again? Anyway. Fun and beautiful and yay!
