"Interesting story." Trunks said, falling backwards and laying on the guest bed, his arms pillowing his head and his lower legs hanging off the edge. "R.I.F.T huh? I like the sound of it."

Keeren smiled, the feeling of getting the secret off her chest calming her. She laid down on the bed as well, her elbows supporting her upper body as her legs kicked the air.

"And in your world I am loved by millions of girls and even some. men?"

"Yep yep. All is true."

"Wow."

"Wow is right."

The couple was silent for a moment. Trunks staring up to the ceiling, and Keeren looking down at his face.

"Do me a big favor will ya?" Keeren started, pushing a lock of her hair behind her ears.

"What?"

"Don't tell Vegeta, cause if ya do, I'm afraid my life would be cut short a good amount. I'm only human."

"Good point."

Another silence hazed over the two. Both of them lost in thought or just la- la land. Keeren suddenly sat up and reached over the edge of the bed. Trunks watched her as she leaned over, her hands digging through her backpack while only the weight of her legs kept her from falling onto her head.

"Ah-ha!" Keeren grunted, heaving herself back onto the bed with a jolt. The bed bounced for a moment before Keeren opened the sketch book. She flipped through many pages before finding one. She smiled to herself as she handed it over to Trunks.

"That's how you look in my world." She said, proud of her art. Trunks studied the drawing for a moment, before ginning.

"My nose is crooked."

"Ohhh" Keeren growled, sticking her tongue out at the lavender haired Saiya- man. "Bite me."

"If you're not careful I just might do that." Trunks grinned slyly, pulling himself into a sitting position. Keeren eeped, past events reminding her that some people aren't lying when they say that. Trunks chuckled as he handed the sketch book back to the woman. Keeren half snatched it away from him and dropped it onto her pack.

"So tell me, what is it like, sitting here in front of me after seeing a 'cartoon' version of me on TV for the past seven years."

"For the last time, it's anime, not cartoon."

"Answer the question." Trunks said amusingly.

Keeren shrugged. "Different."

"Different huh? That's all?"

"Hey, would you rather me be chasing you down the hall with a leash?"

"Not really."

"Good." Keeren smiled. She glanced over to the clock and saw that it was nearly midnight. "It's getting late. We should both be getting to bed."

Trunks frowned, then shrugged.

"Fine with me." He stood and padded towards the door, his bare feet making soft slapping sounds on the hardwood floor.

"G'night." He said, before leaving.

" 'night." Keeren returned. Trunks left the room, shutting the door behind him.

Keeren let out a long breath as she pulled her legs out from underneath her and fell backwards onto the bed. Her head hit the headboard with another clunk as she cursed at herself. By the time she left for home in a day in a half the headboard was going to be dented. She got up from the bed and pulled her pajamas on, and grabbing her toothbrush, she left the room towards the bathroom.

The hall was quiet, the soft pop music emitting from Bra's room and the glowing light from a lamp from Trunks' room. She walked carefully to the bathroom door. Grabbing the knob, she turned it quickly, only to find it locked. She knocked on the door.

"What?" A gruff voice came from the room. Keeren stepped back from the door, knowing that the voice that she heard could only be.

"Baka fucking people." The voice said. The door suddenly opened with Vegeta at its handle. He looked at Keeren, they were nearly eye level, but Vegeta still seemed pretty big.

"Who are you?" He asked stonily. He studied her features for a moment. "Oh, you're that one girl Bulma was talking about." He 'hmphed' and shut the door again, the soft metallic click of metal informed Keeren that the door was locked again. She gulped and walked back to her room. She could brush her teeth in the morning.

Keeren began humming a familiar tune that she had heard before she had left her home dimension. It was from a new group called Trapt, the song was Headstrong. She really liked the song because of all the cool music videos you could make with it. She took a good look at her surroundings. She was sitting silently on a bench in the Brief's backyard. The bench was old and wooden; Keeren had already pulled a splinters from her back and rear.

She suddenly looked up when the feeling that she was being watched appeared. There was nobody in front of her. She threw her arm over the back of the bench and looked behind her. Nobody there either.

"Hmmm . . ."

"Gooooood Afternoon!" A voice came. Keeren jolted her head upwards and found Trunks hovering above her. Her face flushed when she could see up his shorts just a wee bit.

"Good afternoon Trunks-kun" She replied, looking down at the sketchbook in her lap. A few chibi drawings of her and her friends sat like 2-D statues on the white paper. One was of what Melissa and Tasuki looked like when they burst into the library when her and her friends were in Konan the previous weekend.

"What'cha doing?" Trunks asked, lowering himself to sit next to Keeren.

"Drawin' "

"Oh, I see."

"Yes you can. And if you wish to see anymore don't read over my shoulder." Keeren said, spice mixing in her voice.

"I wasn't reading over your shoulder." Trunks replied, looking innocent. "This is reading over your shoulder." He suddenly placed his head on her shoulder, looking at her drawings. Keeren blushed when their ears rubbed together. She quickly brought her senses together and began knocking on Trunks' head with the sketchbook. Trunks laughed playfully, pretending to be hurt. He pushed himself off the bench and landing on his back holding his leg.

"Oh dear! I think I broke my leg!"

"You stupid head! You're a Saiya-jin! You'd need more that falling off a shity bench to break your leg!"

"Who says?"

"I do!" Keeren shouted, kicking her foot into Trunk's side. He laughed and latched onto Keeren's leg as she attempted to walk off, sending her to the ground. She cried out as her hand hit a rock, cutting it. She hissed at Trunks and rolled onto her back, glaring at him.

"You dolt!" She shouted, kicking him in the face. She enjoyed beating up on somebody hard when she knew she couldn't hurt him easily.

"You think that'll hurt me? You have a ki of 6!"

"At least I have a brain!" Keeren huffed, standing up and going towards the house, holding her hand as it bled very little.

"C'mon... where the fuck is it?!" Keeren growled frustratedly, searching constantly through the guestroom. She dropped to her knees and lifted the covers of the bed, looking into the emptiness of a very well cleaned room. She'd been looking for nearly a half hour now and there was no sign of her beloved sketchbook anywhere. If she lost that she'd be miserable! Yeah sure, she had about three other empty ones at home stashed away in her dresser, but this one was nearly full!

Growling deep in her throat, she pushed herself up to her feet and padded out into the hallway, her socks muffling the sounds, though making the ability to slip onto her rump a painful possibility Keeren did not want. She went up to Trunks' door and knocked on it before opening it.

"Trunks, have you seen my-"

Her face did a color change so fast she needed to sit down. Trunks was lying on his bed in just a pair of shorts, a videogame magazine rested on his chest. He looked up over his chest, and gave her a look.

"Oh-never mind! I found it!" Keeren said quickly, snatching her sketch book off the dresser next to the door way and skittered out of the room.

"Do come back soon, hun." Bulma said, grinning. "And enjoy the curry."

Keeren nodded. "Oh trust me. " She winked. "I will, and I'll make sure my hair doesn't get into this time either."

The two women giggled slightly as Keeren turned to Trunks.

"I guess I see you sometime else." She said.

"Yeah." Trunks grinned, crossing his arms across his chest. Keeren looked behind the lavender haired man and saw Vegeta walking from the backdoor and bursting into the air in an aura of white. He was obviously going to spar with Goku outside the city. Keeren turned and pressed the coordinates into the laptop. The blue portal formed in front of her and she smiled to herself. She was actually able to do cool things like her friends. Keeren shut the laptop and put it into her backpack.

"Hey Keeren, wait." Trunks said. Keeren turned around and Trunks grabbed her shoulders and kissed her on the cheek. He let go of her and Keeren stood stunned, putting a hand on the cheek she was kissed on.

"Please come back." Trunks said, smiling, his face just slightly flushed. Keeren nodded, her own face the same tone as his. She suddenly came to her senses when she realized the portal closed after thirty seconds of it being open. She smiled and wheeled, charging into the portal. After several moments the portal flashed white and quickly shut behind the woman.
