Tomfoolery

I have been up to new mischief in Prydain artistry. Less serious than my other work, but filling a niche previously unexplored by me. Take a look at the three latest entries in my deviantArt gallery - be sure to check the numbers and view them in the proper order.

Now that was just fun. It didn't even seem to hinder me not to know the story, although one of these days I suspect I'll find myself wandering down to the library to pick up a copy :P

If it made you interested in the books, then it was worth the time just for that.

I really don't mind seeing more Prydain art :D
I should draw some too... but every time I see yours I tend to wait till I can draw better!

Oh, I wish you would. I often feel that way, believe it or not...in fact, I look at my own work that is two or three years old and think it is mostly crap. But I've learned that being too perfectionist about it just makes me regret things in the long run...it's why I kept putting off sending pieces to Lloyd until it was too late.

Has he ever seen any of your Prydain pictures?

I'll have to finish a birthday picture for my sister this week first, but I'll put Prydain art on my soon-to-draw-list... Gives me an excuse to re-read the books again (^-^)

Not to my knowledge. I've heard he wasn't very comfortable on a computer, and that's the only way he would have seen it.

Who needs an excuse to reread? :)

Oh, too, too, fun! And you know...I think maybe you have a knack for comic-style art. Your style is distinctive and seems to suit that medium well.

Aw, thanks. It's not something I've done much of, but after all I originally was interested in animation, so I guess that latent sense is still there.

Really the idea was spawned when I wondered how close to a completely visual medium I could get short of a film.
