It's quite fun to see which books people have read - also the differences around the world. Some of the books I don't even know but I'm guessing not all of them have "made it over here" so to say.
It's hard to believe I've read more of these than you have (36)...of course, I have a 23-year head start. I think we should substitute something else for #36, since it's included in 33, and ditto on 98, as #14 incorporates it. I can recommend Memoirs of an Invisible Man by John Carpenter. It's a very good read, contrary to the pitiful attempt at getting it on the big screen. I also think some of John Gresham's books should make the list. The Firm, or The Partner, perhaps.
