It took me a while to get away from the belief that any kind of alcohol = bad. Nowadays, I do enjoy the rare times when I can get a bit tipsy, but it's all about knowing where your limit is and not going beyond it. That said, I think it's important to go beyond it once, just so you know where it is.

Drugs... drugs are so not a part of my life I don't give them much thought. I'm a little curious about marijuana, but not enough to go out and find some.

Yeah, I'm not against alcohol. I don't mind having a glass of wine with dinner, or putting certain kinds of alcohol in my hot chocolate. But I don't see it as a recreational thing. That's where I think I divide from a lot of people around my age.

I don't really have a view on marijuana, or I'm not sure about it if I do. I think for me, it's just odd to use some kind of substance to achieve a certain state of mind. I don't think it's necessarily a well thought-out perspective so much as an instinctual one, but that's as far as I've gotten so far. :)

Well, I don't drink I don't smoke, I try to stay away from any kind of alcohol, actually. I never wanted to drink or smoke anything, because I already saw too many people ruining their lives with both.

I think what bothers me is not the use of it, but how widespread the irresponsible use of it is. Maybe that's partly where my hesitancy towards drinking and drugs comes from.
