First, thanks for the compliment :) I'm glad you enjoyed it!

And as for your questions, I've read a few hetalia fanfics where if one of the nations have a large wildfire going on, they have a bad fever. And by "practically every year", well... on America's west coast (especially California) wild fires seem to happen so often here that it almost feels common place, and usually every year they have a big wild fire that requires evacuations and what not. (Of course, they're much smaller than the wildfire(s) Russia is suffering through right now, but still ^^;) Sorry for the confusion, I hope my explanation was okay? :)
