I like the way that you've shown Kate's conflict over going back to work. That feels very true to me. Great scene! Thank you for sharing it.

This is a beautiful scene to picture - to have Kate being so open and honest with him about her uncertainty. It feels very real that she would want to be selfish and protect herself, but also be selfish and want to go back to work. I can really feel the connection between these two characters in your writing.
