Ayla did something you don't see AI contestants do often... a song that is still on the radio. It's actually #3 on Billboard. Perhaps she performed it firguring some voters may go "hey, I know that song! And I kinda like it. Maybe I'll vote for her". Natasha Bedingfield sings the song way bette than her. Obviously.

I wouldn't say you're out of touch. I mean, I hardly listen to radio, and I only catch new music on MTV and VH1 if I'm up that early or up that late. I only really know the song cause I own the cd.

Hey, is it true about Chris? I forgot who but Someone told me that he was asked by Fuel to be their new lead singer...something about the original one quiting...yeah, well, is it true?

I heard about that too. I think I read about it on the Headlines page from E!online. But obviously, he's under contract with AI, and so that can't happen (for now). The lead singer for Fuel left in February, and so apprently, singers that are interested can download an instrumental of "Hemorrhage" and do their own AI thing and send it bad to the band. Who needs a reality show, when you got the internet.

Kellie - Is it bad that I totally forgot she existed?

I forget she and Ayla exist Every. Single. Week. Eh.

I was surprised the judges said "Here's Where I Stand" was too old for Lisa, since it was originally sung by a teenager too. But whatevah, you know Lisa totally identifies with those kids in Camp. Hee.

I'm more invested in a few of the guys, but I like Mandisa, Paris, and Katherine just fine so far.

I have a girlcrush on Katharine. I want to cuddle with her. And yeah, I also love Mandisa and Paris. They're my top three ladies for sure.

Plus, I think half of that hick stuff has GOT to be an act. She's totally capitalizing on that cutesy calamari thing from last week. Sal-mon? Mink? WTF-ever.

Oh man, I hope so. She can't really be that much of an idiot. I dislike her, but I love that Simon said he preferred her to Carrie Underwood. Burnnn. At least Carrie had the voice, though. Kellie sucks.

I pretty much agree with everything else you said. Except I'm not feeling Lisa as much as you; I dig that she can play the guitar, though, but I wish she would step it up a little with her song choices.

Yeah, I have a feeling this is a one-time thing, me liking Lisa. She generally just feel competent to me, even though she is undeniably talented.
