very well said! you basically hit on a bunch of the reasons why i've made the choice i have.

one thing, though: isn't CA an open primary state, where you can vote in whatever primary you want to regardless of how you're registered? i think it was when i lived out there

I think it's like a limited ope primary...if I'm decline to state, I'm good, but if I'm Green I might be restricted. I'll know in about an hour!

yeah. I didn't manage to vote before getting Natasha to her carpool, so now I have to figure out if I'm gonna go vote at city hall and maybe not have my vote counted, or am I gonna trek all the way back to my house and vote in my polling place?

hmmm. Probably I'll make the trek, just because dammit, just because.

Hayes' Nation Article completely won me over rationally.
Because he boiled it down to this essential difference:
The area where the president has the most power is in war and foreign relations. We know Hilary is a hawk. We know her position on nuclear power. We know her position of antagonizing Iran.

We know that Barack is opposite these things.

That is the essential difference.
Let's vote. And then, we'll all do our best to do more.

I think so, but I'm not sure what. There's this winter soldier campaign going on, but I'm not clear what it's about. Hopefully all the different stuff will be complimentary.
