Are you reading spoilers again? *nudge* :D

*meep* Not reading spoilers. But the name was mentioned and it totally reminds me of an awesome, cracky book called "Good Omens" where he was a bad demon (bad as in lazy and not quite managing to be all that evil).

Quite frankly, by the time we got to that point in 5x09, I was too incensed about various things I just couldn't care about that out of the blue revelation.

I'm happy that with 5x10, TPTB played their cards well, at least concerning this. :)

See? Kripke has let down even my happy flisties. This is so not a good thing.

I hope this next ep is back on the road to redemption. It's just a shame we have to wait 6 or 7 weeks for the next one, because I'm afraid it'll be too late to plug the fandom leak, and SPN will come back in January having lost fans.

*is sad*

I'll try to get my ep review up in the next couple days.

The only sense in which Kripke's let me down is that I keep getting this feeling of him not having the balls to stick his money where his mouth is. Of trying to please far, far too many masters instead of following his plan.

I hope they stuck the 'funny' episodes in the first half of the season, because with what went down in 5x10, there's not much room for laughs in the future. I'm going to see this season through, no matter what, but they have to pull quite a big bunny out of their hat in order to lure me in for S6, if there'll ever be such a thing.

I think you hit something, there. I *have* got the sense in the past that he's trying to please too many masters. In fact, today I stumbled onto a review of 5.10 in which the author was so savagely angry that I wondered if we'd seen the same show! Then it dawned on me that really, the SPN fandom is a beast of many, many heads, and there is no way in heaven or earth Kripke can please us all.

I agree, I hope he stops trying. I hope he just tells his story. I read an interview somewhere this morning quoting him saying that yes, the next half of the season will be more strictly serious, and I hope it's true. And this may be blasphemy to some, but I hope there won't be a Season 6. I want Supernatural to end in glory, and not stagger off into some unknown horizon, like X-Files did.

*hugs you*

Alas, methinks he should've realized that couple of seasons back and just tell the story that wanted to be told. Realize the plan he claims he had.

the next half of the season will be more strictly serious
You and me both, love, hope this to be true.
Supernatural (hell, every show ever) should end with grace. With a hero's farewell, not a propped-up idol's fall.

*hugs*
