There was so much in this episode that no one could've possibly caught it all. I've read a couple of metas and gods, this one went straight to the top of the list of Most Meta-able Episodes Ever. I both dread and feel hopeful for the rest of the season.

I've decided Dean is a vessel for Jesus and Sam's a vessel for Lucifer. Of course, they'll team up instead of fighting to the death(hello, they're Dean'n'Sam) and go take out Daddy to remake the world as they see fit.

Yeah, see, Dean's eyes would be silver and Sam's golden-yellow like the MorningStar, not that same color as Azazel's, but purer and brighter. And they'd just look at each other, during those months just after Hell, and Dean slowly realizes there's Somone Else inside him, and he'd freak out, of course, but Other is calm and compassionate and then he realizes, Holy fuck, I got Jesus in me, and then --

That was my first thought as well. But she was better in this episode, imho, both the actress and the character.

All I keep thinking, though, is that where the heck have they found such perfectly serpentine person to play him this time?

Show's casting has always been stellar (Colin Ford, anyone?) but it's amazing how they're awesome so consistently.

Sam doesn't need Ruby's magical vagina to get his power boost, but her blood. I... don't think I have that much of a blood!kink to like where my mind's going, now. Eww.

Anna's one of those characters who I really need to see more before making up my mind. I don't think I 'get' her. Does her incarnation, her Fall, make her something along the lines of the Christ, or what? How being re-Graced affected her? What is her deal? *sigh*

She told Castiel to have some balls, though, so methinks she can't be as bad as I first thought. ;)

Indeed. I prefer the Magical Healing Cock by far. Granted, there's the whole earthy aspect inherent in Ruby; she was, apparently, a witch and demons have a history of being delightfully physical, so I'm rather torn loving the dichotomy of visceral femaleness and metaphysical maleness that Ruby brings into the mix...
Gah. I think I had a thought there. I'm just not sure how much I like the Show hammering the "Sinful Eve"-idea into our heads...

That she indeed appears to be. Thinking of her scenes with Castiel with that twist made them delicious. Haven't figured out how the scene with Uriel works, though
