S3's problem was, methinks, the writers' strike. Bela and Ruby didn't get a chance to really become more than just the Required Female Presence, Kripke & co. had to hurry up some plot-twists, deal with characters prematurely and too quickly (Henriksen, Gordon and Kubrick come to mind first).But I still love the way S3 began, with AC/DC's Hell's Bells...
