I have been playing catchup recently with several shows I love. Some catching up is in the sense of "I watched the premiere of S5 of Merlin and then.... forgot to watch the rest and now it is over and I don't want Tumblr to spoil me so I had better do some series telly watching ASAP." Some catching up is more like catching up with old friends who

I will NEVER be done with that Ten complaint. It is one of my complaintiest.

Ha, like a third of my Doctor Who posts seem to turn into Ten complaints at some point or other. Like you, I am so glad that Eleven was open with Clara instead of holding her at arm's length for ages!
Also, The Hour! I need S2 to come out on DVD before I get totally spoiled on it by Tumblr, but I loved S1 so much. I love Bel and Freddie together, and I threw myself off of my couch when I heard Jamie Parker's voice in the first episode (which was doubly ridiculous, because I knew he was in it). And I really, really like Marnie (I have fewer Hector feelings because he's just Not My Type in a lot of ways, but I like watching him trying to develop into a newsman and not being sure he wants to).

Bon courage for watching Merlin; I shall leave you to experiencing it on your own. Say hello afterwards, though.
And Who! I just finished watching the Christmas Special, and oh, was it lovely! Every time Who comes back to the screen, I feel uplifted and as if somebody made me a special present and created a festive day for me. Clara is going to be great, and I agree - shaking things up is good, even if we miss the Ponds.
And I might have to check out Miranda - this went completely past me.
