I LOVE Wes Anderson. I think he's an incredible artist who cares SO MUCH about making a distinctive, beautiful picture, something that not too many other directors out there seem interested in.

AND GOD. YES. SIGUR ROS. My roommates freshmen year were fans, so when I came flailing to them later about the awesome song Wes had used, they were very smug. ;)

There is this member who comes into the museum ALL THE TIME who looks a lot like Willem Dafoe in this movie. I eventually realized that he only sort of resembles Willem Dafoe, but he wears a tiny orange hat in winter, so I like him better than most people.

Also, a dude who lived in my hall senior year of college had a Team Zissou shirt, which also made me like him better than most people.

NICE. I once almost paid way too much to buy a pair of official Team Zissou shoes off Ebay. I have ALWAYS REGRETTED not going for it.
