I love Anderson and I really really have to see this movie. People always tell me he's either too quirky, too self concious, or that all his films look the same. Well, I guess I just have no problem with any of that!

I really, REALLY love stories about families and having one like this, that focuses so much on sibling relationships, is just right up my alley. That's probably why, much as I love Rushmore and am always happy to spend time with The Life Aquatic, this and Royal Tenenbaums are probably my favorites.

I agree with you- I love the self-conscious quirkiness and I love how identifiable his look is!

Hey, so, I downloaded it after I saw your post and watched it this evening. And I *really* adored it, (although SPOOOOOOILER I had an issue with the whole going off while your girlfriend is having a baby thing.) Although I did get very sad watching it as well, because me and my brother hate each other's guts so... *sigh*

Also, because I'm a very shallow: OMG Adrien Brody is beautiful.
