So Mike and I were in the store about 36 hours ago. I realized 2007 is almost over and admitted it hasn't been our best year. He looked right at me and said "I'm just happy to be with you because I love you". I can't stop thinking about that. It's one of the nicest things I can imagine anyone saying.

Don't see what economics has to do with it.
I can't claim to be evil like Bush Jr. or anything, and it's not like I'm one of those people who has to kill others because I can only have an orgasm as my genitals are clenched in the orfice of a person with a death rattle.
Maybe "evil" is too strong a word. Perhaps "Not as Nice as Many People" is better.

Please, you are nothing if not generous. If anything, you care too much for others. Believe me, I look deeply into people, and I've seen much more evil in shiny, happy people than ever in the depressed and frustrated street urchins I've met. My first comment was a bad attempt at a joke, but it really pains me to think that you believe this about yourself. You have always been good to me; and if you haven't, you've been good enough at being bad that I never noticed.

It's a good thing I still get to read about you. I do miss Terry at times... don't really know if he is still alive.
