Two words: Cowboy Bebop.

YES! I was just going to say that! How could such an awesome show be overlooked?

Also, Trigun is pretty awesome but doesn't quite compare to Bebop.

Easily, because as stated, it is hardly a sci-fi western. And it reeks of 80's. I'd agree with Trigun, although Vash was the only character worth caring about in that series. All the women were useless fangirls, like often flock around Tom up there.

Let's be serious. Cowboy Bebop was just an anime version all the old science shows, be it Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek. Yea they had little adventures and saw a new world every episode, so what? Just because their bounty hunters were called "cowboys" does not mean it was a scifi-western. Anymore than Star Trek was a scifi-western for referring to space as the "final frontier."

Dude, that is really gross. On the other hand, this story is sounding more and more like allegory. But of what, I still cannot say... And Doc's continual reminders of the Cymbal man. He is a tortured hero.

Also, Bebop was friggin' ART, you Philistine.

Never seen Bebop, but I am deeply amused that it inspires such emotion.
