Wood Pile Management

It seems like everybody was working on their wood piles on Columbus Day. We took a family walk around the block in the morning, and saw one guy on a nearby street re-stacking his wood, and another guy was taking a delivery of split firewood. You must have gotten an accumulation of handy genes from both sides of the family. It skipped your father altogether I think. It is not that he can't do it, it is that he gets no satisfaction from it. Because of that he thinks that all people who do things around the house and yard like doing the work, but I think most of the time it is the satisfaction of seeing what you have accomplished. The puzzle of figuring out what to do and how to do it might be enjoyable to some and just working with your hands is good for many, but for me it is the satisfaction that gets me out there doing things I don't ordinarily enjoy.
