Puedo matarte con mi cerebro.

Just spent twenty minutes reading up on the basic areas and functions of the human brain, just enough so that my characters could sound like they actually knew what they were talking about. Tonight I'll do a little foray into types of brain damage, and what is and is not irreparable. This coming off of reading a Firefly fic last night where a ( Read more... )

ROFL brain functions and the linguistics related to them can be fun... but not if they're the first thing on the morning xDD

About your subject line... I don't know whether it's right or not... if you wanted to say "With me cerebro" (not spoiling the surprise xD) it's right... but "with my" you should write "Mi"... but I'm guessing you already know that and it is just another one of those fandom things I don't know. *rolls eyes innocently*

LOL, if you've never watched Firefly than you probably wouldn't get the reference. One of the most famous lines is "I can kill you with my brain." In context it's hilarious. Yesterday I was trying to say Firefly things in Spanish and that one was the most fun.

And yes, that "me" was a whoops on my part. I noticed it right away after I posted and I was hoping no one else would. ¡Tenías demasiada rapidez! LOL

*sigh*

Why are there so many fic writers who just don't care if something is believable or makes sense? It's like all these fluffy little Claire/Sylar fics I've been seeing lately. Carving pumpkins? Playing in the snow? Hello! Insane serial killer!

Why do I not have a *headdesk* icon? :(

They want both the sexual "danger" excitement that Sylar induces in some and a romance. No, children, you can't have your creepy cake and eat it too. ;-)

I think there's been some discussion on FFF.net regarding River's neural/psychological scarring and whether it truly is permanent. I could check into it if you like....

That's okay. My research is actually with respect to my Stargate story. The River thing was more of a relevant aside.
