Speaking for myself, I can certianly relate, though my particular 'kryptonite' isn't Angel, per se. It really is tough. You somehow convince yourself (while in the middle of the act) that it's okay, that you'll just get it out of your system (as you put it), that if you tap into it in moderation its ok, but then it quickly goes beyond that to something bordering on obsession. And being sick brings the compelling argument that you just need to rest, do something enjoyable, and why not binge on a show (sometimes, with me, it's a particular anime...same vein though)? What would it hurt to instead have an extra long time with God's Word and in prayer?

Well, I'll pray for you. And if you think to, pray for me for the same - to resist temptation and use these times to draw closer to our Savior instead.

Joss does know how to do those compelling stories, doesn't he? I'll admit, I've always been intrigued by vampire stories, even though perhaps I shouldn't be, and I used to watch Buffy and Angel all the time until the promiscuity just got to be too much for me to take. But it is really hard to know when to draw those lines when it's just fiction.

And there's a soundtrack to the show?! Does it have the theme song? I love the theme song!! Still need to get the movie soundtrack...hopefully Christmas. :D
