I believe it is because some of the students here are prude and/or simply innocent about the subject. While some others are... I suppose aroused and/or shocked by it all.
Even for me, it's strange to talk about. The only people that I've talked to about this topic are my Father Elbert and at very rare occasions, Hector.
Actually, I was more referring to people who were making it seem "funny"...my math class was full of people cracking jokes and laughing like it was the funniest thing ever.
I don't get it. What could be so humorous about a natural part of life?

Yeah, people either think the real terms are embarassing or that the slang terms are the funniest things ever.
