A look back at 2007

It's hard not to focus on the negative when one looks backward. So I'll just say it. Getting my layoff notice was not the high point of 2007. So what was? What were the tangible accomplishments of 2007?

Read 159 novels? Seriously? Damn. I haven't counted mine up, but I doubt I'll hit 30. That's like 3 books a week.

So did you have a favorite? Or is that a silly question? *g*

I've enjoyed tagging the number of books that I've read the last two years. You were in reread mode this year. Surprisingly, I wasn't. Three books a week sounds about right. Though I read hardly at all on my vacation!

The Patricia Briggs series comes to mind as the best new series with Jeanne Stein's series coming in a close second. I was surprised at how many books I didn't love or that disappointed me. I'm just excited that I read a few books that I already owned!
