Gytha's training is blazing along wonderfully!  We hooked her to the cart and drove her down the road.  She did just about every passive-aggressive thing she could to express her displeasure, but nothing like kicking, striking, rearing, bolting.

Goodness she's a gorgeous animal! Her being passive-aggressive makes me think she's just putting up a token protest and just needs to get used to it. That or she's really mellow. Does her name happen to mean anything?

Yes, Yes, and it means either 'Gift' in Olde English or 'battle maid' in Norse.

My, what a pretty, young filly... and the horse isn't half bad either. Seriously, I always imagined you as pretty-yet-down-to-earth, but I didn't realize how lovely you actually look.

The horse will be fine, my uncle says that it's just a phase that most horses grow out of as they grow accustomed to a new role. He used to be a rodeo rider, and now he runs his parents' old farm.
