Earrings

16-gauge stainless steel hoops in my ears! I think I'll buy a gold set after these heal. I'd been thinking about getting my ears pierced for a few and I decided to go downtown and check out this piercing parlour earlier today (Piercology in Columbus - the piercer was David and he did a great job). Yeah, I didn't like their studs; they had a lot of tiny ones with various gemstones, and they were too flashy. The hoops were cooler and more subtle.

Thanks, man. You know, "Congratulations" wouldn't have made much sense to me two days ago, but it makes more now - it's a bit bold to get a piercing in a mostly conservative culture. But, then, you're also expected to do various "odd" things in your 20s. ;)

I remembered that you have an apadravya while I was in there, so I got them to show me what it looked like. All I have to say is, FUCKING OW, dude. Hopefully it's worth it, though.

Haha. It's not really a competition - well, except for the dude in the parlour who had 1.5" stretched-out holes in his ears. He was definitely competing with someone - like an ancient South American king.
